QA Lead - an experienced QA Lead responsible for a Team of manual and automation testers to ensure that software applications meet business needs. Responsible for planning, scheduling and reporting test outcomes to ensure stakeholder awareness of test effort, issues and agreement of test outcome and lead testing (both manual and automation testers). Looking for a solid QA Engineer who has led QA teams to come on board and implement automation framework whilst mentoring the QA team members.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Test Planning & Analysis, solid understanding of Manual and Automated testing concepts
• Agile testing experience with team member accountability for commitment and delivery each sprint
• Drive and building automation framework
• Encourage automation withing the wider test team
• Peer reviews the test coverage and test cases produced by the Test Team and as appropriate participate in walk through with respective Business Stakeholders
• Highlighting and Risks or Slippages to the key stakeholders
• Participate in quality reviews of key testing
• Developing and refining test processes, methodologies, disciplines, and measurements
• Work in collaboration with Project Managers, Test Strategist, Business Analysts and Testing Team to understand requirements and build the automated regression testing framework. Plan, design and develop test script, take ownership of end to end testing delivery
• Manage senior stakeholder expectations, articulate project challenges and progress. Coordinate and monitor testing progression and prepare reports and communicate results and progress with project stakeholders
• Attend sprint planning meetings and discuss testing issues

Required Skills:

·Min 3 years of experience as a Lead

• Strong interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to interact with senior management to drive engagements, resolve problems and demonstrate successful outcomes
• Extensive experience in writing test frameworks and processes including test plans/strategy, advanced scripting, execution and reporting of applications and APIs
• Experience in providing test estimations
• Ability to assess UI/UX testing
• Android and iOS mobile testing experience

·5-7 years of UI/API testing experience and demonstrated understanding of test types, processes and methodologies

• Expertise in test automation tools (such as e.g., Postman, TOSCA, Selenium, Appium etc.) and sound experience designing, developing, and updating automated test cases
• Agile experience
• Business case and technical story understanding and ability to create tests from stories/requirements
• Defect and dependency management
• Experience of using Jira to track tests and create reporting
