Our client is a leading Australian commercial interiors and construction company that has delivered high-quality ceiling, partition, and carpentry services across Western Australia for over two decades.
They specialize in office fit-outs, retail precincts, and large-scale infrastructure projects , partnering with both national and international contractors. Known for their craftsmanship, reliability, and attention to detail, they take pride in delivering projects that consistently exceed client expectations.

About the Role
The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, managing tenders, and supporting project delivery for commercial fit-out and interior construction projects.
This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and experience in ceiling, partition, and carpentry works within the Australian construction industry.
You’ll work closely with the project and management teams to ensure timely submission of quotations and bids, while maintaining strong client and supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications .
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and quotations for commercial projects.
- Manage the tender submission process , including documentation and follow-ups.
- Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations , ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
- Provide advice on project risks, lead times, and cost-saving opportunities .
- Prepare and submit contract variations and revisions as required.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to gather information and confirm scope details.
- Track tender outcomes and provide regular updates to management.
- Maintain organized records of all estimates, correspondence, and revisions.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 3 years of experience in estimating commercial office fit-outs (ceilings, partitions, doors, glazing, demolition, insulation, etc.).Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating software (experience with OnScreen Take-Off is an advantage).Excellent understanding of Australian construction standards and practices .Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to accuracy and detail.Effective communication and relationship-building skills with clients and suppliers.Reliable, organized, and able to work under pressure and meet tender deadlines .Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and accountability in all aspects of work.Benefits
