The Software Engineering Manager(Banking) will lead our development team in building a world-first AI-powered finance management platform that maximizes savings for Australians. You'll balance hands-on coding with strategic leadership, driving our tech stack ( C#, React Native, Java ) while scaling an innovative product that's transforming how consumers interact with financial services.

You’ll be part of our mobile development efforts for a world-first AI-powered finance management platform that helps Australians maximize their savings. Working closely with our product, design, and backend teams, you’ll deliver sleek, scalable apps that people love to use.

Responsibilities

  • Drive architectural decisions and technical direction aligned with business goals.
  • Conduct code reviews and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Collaborate with product managers to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Project Delivery

  • Spend your time coding and contributing to development.
  • Oversee project delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Manage project scope, resources, and timelines across initiatives.
  • Implement quality assurance processes and balance technical and business needs.

    • Team Management

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing engineering team.
  • Recruit and onboard talent skilled in our tech stack.
  • Conduct regular 1 : 1s to provide feedback and career development.
  • Implement and improve agile workflows while fostering a culture of innovation.

    • Qualifications

    Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 12+ years of software development experience, including 4+ years in leadership
  • Hands-on coding and project delivery experience with C# & React Native
  • Hungry to solve real-world problems with creativity and autonomy
  • Strong understanding of software development best practices
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Location : Must be residing in the Philippines

    • Preferred

  • Cloud scaling and optimization expertise
  • Startup experience or knowledge of fintech / banking domains
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, MBA, or related field
