The Accounting Manager will oversee the day- to-day internal accounting functions and financial management of the company and its clients. This role is ideal for someone who not only has strong technical skills and experience but is also eager to grow into a leadership

position.

The Accounting Manager will work closely with management and external service providers to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records, compliance with regulatory requirements, and timely financial reporting. Over time, the Accounting Manager is expected to take on increasing responsibilities, contribute to process improvements, and potentially help build and lead an in-house accounting and finance team as the company scales. Duties and Responsibilities :

Financial Record-Keeping

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts, including general ledger, journal entries, and subsidiary ledgers with the aid of internal and external bookkeeper / s
  • Prepare and post accounting transactions in a timely manner
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial records
  • Ensure that all financial records comply with internal policies and external reporting standards

Reporting and Compliance

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external use
  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns (VAT, EWT, ITR) and ensure timely filing and payment of government dues
  • Coordinate with external auditors, accountants, as well as legal and tax consultants during audits and assessments
  • Ensure compliance with BIR, SEC, and other relevant regulatory bodies
  • Payables and Receivables Management

  • Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable balances
  • Oversee the preparation of payment vouchers, checks, and disbursement schedules by the Disbursement Officer
  • Facilitate the issuance of invoices based on service agreements or project milestones, in coordination with the Disbursement Officer and Legal Team
  • Follow up on overdue accounts and escalate issues as needed
  • Handle billing-related concerns
  • Budgeting and Analysis

  • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and forecasts
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for budget discrepancies
  • Support management in financial planning and decision-making
  • Requirements

    Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in accountancy
  • CPA license is required
  • At least 10 years of cumulative accounting experience
  • At least 2-3 years in the same role / position being offered, or in internal accounting or financial supervision
  • Experience with Philippine tax compliance is required
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and MS Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Trustworthy, professional, and capable of handling confidential information

    Schedule : Monday to Friday 8AM- 5PM PHT (Included 1 hour lunch break) or 9AM- 6PM PHT (Included 1 hour lunch break)
