Job descriptionYou’ll handle the initial marking of learner assessments in Health / Individual Support . You’ll review submissions against competency standards, provide clear feedback, and record outcomes in the LMS. You’ll escalate to trainers for final sign-off and help keep assessments compliant, consistent, and student-friendly. Mark learner submissions against competency standards. Provide clear, supportive written feedback to students. Record results accurately in LMS (Cloud Assess, aXcelerate, or similar). Escalate academic issues to training coordinators when needed. Monitor marking timelines and maintain compliance standards. Suggest improvements to guides and processes. A people-first assessor with empathy, fairness, and patience. Detail-driven, consistent, and comfortable making clear calls. Organized, reliable, and confident working remotely. Strong written communication in English. 2+ years relevant experience in assessment, marking, or student support. Health / Community Services industry exposure preferred ; PH experience is fine. Background in nursing, social work, health, or related fields. LMS experience (Cloud Assess, aXcelerate, or other systems). TAE40122 or industry qualifications are nice-to-have, not must-have. Collaborative, feedback-positive, and supportive. Focused on quality but with room to laugh and learn. Student-first, compliance-conscious, and low-drama. Turnaround speed & accuracy of marking. Consistency of competency decisions. Compliance with policies and assessment standards. Feedback quality from students and coordinators. Remote (PH-based). Mon–Fri ; Day-shift.
