Instructional Designer

Overview

The Instructional Designer is primarily responsible for designing and/or developing e-learning courses, presentations, facilitator and participant guides, and assessments. He/ she will also support various learning initiatives and help provide learning solutions. Some of the core tasks include curriculum creation and maintenance, communications crafting, creating and editing content, reporting, and output evaluation and analysis.

He/she will be tasked to develop different types of content- ranging from communication skills to product / service-specific materials for customer service, sales, and technical courses.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and modify learning materials: e-learning courses, PowerPoint modules, instructor and participant guides, assessments and supplementary activities.
• Review and evaluate external training materials
• Manage projects and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Develop programs and workshops for various tiers.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of combined experience in Training, and/or Instructional Design.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated competence and experience in the design, delivery and facilitation of training content.
• Experience in communicating and managing stakeholders.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and e-learning authoring tools (Captivate, Articulate…)
• Knowledge of learning and instructional design model
