IT Specialist

PalmPay is a leading fintech company committed to providing innovative payment and consumer finance solutions that make digital financial services more accessible, safe, and rewarding.We are expanding our presence in the Philippines through mobile installment programs for Transsion brands (Tecno / Infinix / Itel), enabling consumers to enjoy flexible and affordable financing options.

Current company seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Specialist to support the technology infrastructure and digital operations of our device finance business in the Philippines.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in IT systems, fintech platforms, and digital device finance operations , preferably from Home Credit, Salmon, Billease, or PayJoy .

Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain IT systems, networks, and infrastructure supporting device finance operations.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for internal teams, including sales, collections, and customer service.

Implement and maintain software solutions, databases, and fintech platforms to enhance operational efficiency.

Collaborate with operations and business teams to ensure IT systems meet business requirements and regulatory standards.

Ensure data security, backup, and recovery procedures are in place and adhered to.

Support digital initiatives, automation projects, and system upgrades .

Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions proactively.

Liaise with vendors and technology partners to ensure optimal system functionality.

Maintain documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and compliance records for IT operations.

Required Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field .

• 5+ years of IT experience , preferably in device finance, consumer lending, or fintech operations .

Experience working with Home Credit, Salmon, Billease, PayJoy, or similar companies is highly desirable.

Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, databases, networks, and fintech software platforms .

Understanding of Philippine regulatory requirements for data and IT operations is an advantage.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Competencies: Strong technical expertise with a proactive approach to IT management.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.

Knowledge of digital finance platforms, CRM systems, and fintech tools .

Team player with strong collaboration skills across business functions.
