Job description

We’re looking for an Executive Virtual Assistant (Mandarin & English Speaker) to support the leadership team across operations, communication, and cross-border coordination.

You’ll handle a mix of administrative, research, and communication tasks between English- and Chinese-speaking partners. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English , and comfortable working in a fast-moving Web3 and gaming technology environment.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a startup setting, can navigate cultural nuances, and isn’t afraid to take initiative.

What You’ll Work On

Executive and Operational Support

  • Manage schedules, meetings, and communications across time zones
  • Handle travel coordination, document management, and follow-ups
  • Prepare reports, summaries, and research briefs for the leadership team
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure information is handled with care
  • Cross-Border Communication

  • Serve as a key liaison between English- and Mandarin-speaking teams, partners, and communities
  • Translate and summarize messages, emails, and project updates when needed
  • Support communications with Chinese media, developers, and business contacts
  • Help coordinate events, partnerships, or meetings across China and global markets
  • Research and Coordination

  • Conduct market and partner research in both English and Chinese sources
  • Manage contact lists, partnership databases, and outreach tracking
  • Help with presentation prep, proposal formatting, and localization of materials
  • Monitor regional crypto, gaming, or Web3 trends relevant to company strategy
  • What You Bring

  • Fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English (written and spoken)
  • Ideally Filipino-Chinese with experience living or working in China
  • 3+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Virtual Assistant, or Operations Coordinator
  • Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with remote collaboration tools (Google Workspace, Notion, Slack)
  • Professional discretion and the ability to work independently across multiple priorities
  • Nice to Have

  • Background in Web3, blockchain, or gaming industries
  • Experience supporting cross-border business or partnerships
  • Familiarity with WeChat, Feishu (Lark), Telegram, and Discord for business communications
  • Interest in technology, community building, or emerging markets
