The Role:
1. Engineering functions of Customer Service delivery (R)
- Ensure effective implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance programs to maintain the reliability of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection.
- Manage and oversee technical service contracts related to equipment maintenance, energy conservation programs (Enercon), and utility management to ensure compliance with service level agreements.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify necessary repairs, upgrades, and consumable requirements while ensuring proper documentation and timely request processing.
2. Remarkable Customer Experience (RCX) (R)
- Promptly address and resolve tenant and client concerns related to building engineering services, ensuring minimal disruptions and quick response times.
- Implement service quality standards and energy efficiency initiatives to enhance occupant comfort, safety, and sustainability.
- Coordinate with property management and tenants to provide updates on maintenance schedules, system improvements, and energy-saving measures.
3. Lead, Manage and Make People Accountable (LMA) (R)
- Supervise and mentor the engineering team by providing training, setting performance goals, and ensuring accountability for daily tasks.
- Assign and monitor engineering tasks while ensuring compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement by encouraging innovation and efficiency in maintenance and operational procedures.
4. Reports (R)
- Prepare and submit periodic reports on maintenance activities, utility consumption, and energy-saving initiatives for management review.
- Document and analyze equipment performance data to identify trends, predict failures, and recommend system improvements.
- Ensure proper record-keeping of all engineering-related documents including service logs, incident reports, and technical evaluations for future reference and compliance audits.
Ideal Profile:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or other related fields.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in building engineering, facilities management, or property management.
- Hands-on experience in preventive and corrective maintenance, utilities monitoring, energy conservation (Enercon), and technical contract management.
- Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS), HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Building Systems & Maintenance – In-depth understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and structural systems.
- Technical Contract Management – Knowledge of service level agreements (SLAs), contractor performance evaluation, and procurement processes.
- Energy Conservation (Enercon) – Expertise in energy efficiency initiatives, utilities monitoring, and sustainability programs.
- Building Codes & Safety Regulations – Familiarity with local building codes, environmental regulations, safety protocols, and compliance requirements.
- Preventive & Corrective Maintenance – Strong foundation in developing, implementing, and monitoring maintenance programs.
