About the Role:
This role is responsible for improving the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of assigned machines, stations, or production areas. The position covers the qualification, maintenance, and release of new tooling and equipment platforms, ensuring optimal performance aligned with customer and internal requirements.
What You Will Do:
Perform machine and process capability studies on assigned stations.
Develop and implement machine and tooling improvement strategies based on capability study results.
Identify, prioritize, and execute projects based on critical business and operational needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
What You Will Need
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical, Mechatronics, Robotics, or equivalent.
At least 4 years of experience in Equipment Engineering or Maintenance within a semiconductor assembly environment.
Strong proficiency in mechanical and electronic systems.
Solid knowledge of assembly processes and assembly equipment.
Proficiency in statistical tools such as Minitab and SAS JMP.
Strong problem-solving skills using methodologies such as 3x5 Why, DMAIC, and Global 8D.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
