Architecture & Strategy
- Design and Govern RHOCP Architecture : Define and maintain the high‑level architecture for multi‑cluster and multi‑cloud RHOCP deployments, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards for performance, security, high availability, disaster recovery, and cost optimization.
 - Strategic Roadmapping : Develop the technical roadmap for the evolution and adoption of OpenShift and related cloud‑native services (e.g., service mesh, serverless, data services, GitOps).
 - Best Practices and Standards : Establish and enforce architectural standards, patterns, and blueprints for application modernization, migration, and new cloud‑native development on the OpenShift platform.
 - Capacity Planning : Oversee capacity planning, resource optimization, and infrastructure provisioning strategies for the RHOCP environment across different environments (on‑premise, public cloud, edge).

Implementation & Delivery
Technical Leadership : Lead and guide engineering teams on complex design decisions, technical implementations, and proof‑of‑concept projects related to OpenShift and Kubernetes ecosystem components.DevSecOps Integration : Design and implement robust DevSecOps pipelines for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI / CD) on OpenShift, utilizing tools such as Jenkins, ArgoCD, or Tekton.Security and Compliance : Architect security controls, network policies, identity management (e.g., LDAP / AD integration, RBAC), and logging / monitoring solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK / Loki stack) to meet enterprise security and regulatory requirements.Collaboration & Consulting
Stakeholder Management : Engage with business leaders, application development teams, and infrastructure teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective OpenShift‑based solutions.Mentorship : Mentor and train cloud and DevOps engineers on RHOCP concepts, administration, and advanced features.Vendor Management : Work closely with Red Hat and other cloud vendors to stay current on product roadmaps, features, and optimal support strategies.Required Skills and Qualifications
Deep RHOCP / Kubernetes Knowledge : Extensive, hands‑on experience designing, deploying, and managing large‑scale Red Hat OpenShift (RHOCP) or native Kubernetes clusters.Containerization : Mastery of container technologies (Docker / Podman) and container runtime security.Cloud Platforms : Expertise in one or more major public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and / or on‑premise virtualization / private cloud technologies (e.g., VMware, OpenStack).Automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Proficient in configuration management and automation tools such as Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, Terraform, Puppet, or Chef.Operating Systems : Strong background in Linux administration (Red Hat Enterprise Linux or similar).Networking : In‑depth knowledge of container networking (CNI), software‑defined networking, load balancing, and ingress / egress controls.Data and Storage : Experience with OpenShift storage solutions (e.g., OpenShift Data Foundation / Ceph) and integration with external enterprise storage.8+ years of progressive experience in IT architecture, with 4+ years focused on cloud‑native architecture, Kubernetes, and / or OpenShift.
