Global Demand Planner – Innodata Inc.
The Global Demand Planner is responsible for end-to-end demand planning and resource forecasting to ensure operational excellence across all programs and projects. This role partners closely with Real-Time Analysts, Recruitment, and key business stakeholders to align capacity planning with business needs, while proactively addressing supply and demand fluctuations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong mix of analytical, communication, and leadership skills to drive effective workforce strategies and ensure resource readiness across multiple time zones and market locales.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed operational demand forecasts across multiple time horizons and aggregation levels.
- Analyze historical data, identify demand trends, and create statistical models to predict future resource needs.
- Review and incorporate business inputs and market intelligence to refine forecasts.
- Partner with recruitment and vendor management teams to ensure resource pipelines align with demand forecasts.
- Lead the scoping process for new initiatives to ensure accuracy in demand estimates and timelines.
- Perform risk assessments and scenario planning for potential volume fluctuations and operational constraints.
- Develop ramp-up / ramp-down plans and resource deployment strategies based on project lifecycle and workload.
- Act as the liaison between workforce planning, recruitment, vendors, and business leadership.
- Conduct regular demand planning and capacity review meetings with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Communicate proactively regarding supply / demand gaps, forecast changes, and timeline updates.
- Prepare and maintain reports on workforce capacity, hiring progress, financial costing, and project timelines.
- Generate market locale summaries and performance dashboards to aid in strategic decision‑making.
- Support the Supply Planning team in developing localized inventory / resource strategies.
- Drive consensus between demand planners and operational teams to ensure cross‑functional alignment.
- Monitor vendor FTE and crowd staffing levels to ensure optimal resource allocation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience).3–5+ years in workforce planning, demand forecasting, or capacity management roles.Experience in high‑volume operations or outsourcing / vendor‑based environments is a plus.Strong analytical skills and proficiency in tools such as Excel, Power BI, and workforce planning platforms.Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.Seniority level : Mid‑Senior level
