Job descriptionTaga kumpuni ng mga sirang gamit o taga-gawa / tagabuo ng gamit Inspect buildings and facilities for needed services and repairs Perform minor repairs Maintain doors, windows, furniture and other items Monitor and replace weather stripping Maintain building interiors and exteriors Build required items including specialty furniture Build stairs and other items Build other items as required Operate and maintain carpentry tools and equipment Assist with the delivery of other related services Physically demanding job as some lifting is required Be aware of Health and Safety standards; along with a high understanding of Dignity and Diversity
In the workplace
- Good personal hygiene and a tidy and appropriate dress sense uniform will be provided that you will be required to wear
- Operates and maintains lathe and milling machines.
- Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints or samples to ensure accurate production.
- Takes precise measurements for cutting or shaping.
- Selects appropriate machines and settings for a given task.
- Plan a proper sequence of tasks to complete the assignment.
- Monitors production, adjusting feed and other settings as necessary.
- Maintains inventory of completed products.
- Checks output for quality assurance and documents or discards defects.
- Identifies need for and performs machine maintenance and minor repairs.
- Maintains a safe and clean workstation.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
