Qualification Highlights

Be a Certified Public Accountant; CPA Lawyer is a plus (with valid license).
Has strong experience in Taxation and Finance for at least 5‑10 years
With work experience in multinational companies is an advantage;
Has proven experience managing a team and worked as a Team Leader or Supervisor;
Good at dealing with BIR audit and risk control;
Fluent in writing and speaking English language.
Familiar with Oracle ERP or SAP is preferred.
Has project management skills; and
Has positive attitude towards work with both Local and Chinese Finance team members.

Duties and Responsibilities

As the successful candidate, you will be joining the ZTE Philippines based team and will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and development of the local and international tax and finance function.

This role will focus on company tax audit, as well as establish and maintain tax office and relationship with the Local Government Units.

Lead the External FS Audit and coordinate with auditors and ZTE's hared service center (SSC) and local finance team

Handle special tax and finance projects in accordance with Company's needs and policies

Manage and improve tax risk control, update current tax process and company tax policies

Review and assist Shared Services Center’s (SSC) audit, recording, and reconciliation including review of trial balance (TB) & general ledger (GL) to ensure accuracy & correctness of company's records for to audit and tax reporting, prepare monthly Income Statement and Balance Sheet

Supervise local AP (Accounts Payable) work, organize vendor invoicing & payment, issuance of BIR Form No. 2307 to suppliers, and document archiving, among others.

Lead finance process improvements of tax, accounting, Treasury, AP and AR processes

Ensure all company tax returns are duly prepared, filed and paid

Lead and manage a finance team, directly reports to the CFO.
