What You'll Do
- You conduct regular quality reviews for Credit Limit Updates, Cash Applications, Order Releasing, and Credit & Collection activities for your assigned region or teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- You provide regular and timely feedback to associates on internal findings, using the agreed coaching approach and documentation, in line with GBS CODE.
- You share best practices to improve performance in unallocated cash, order releasing, aging reduction, and past-due performance within your assigned region or team.
- You handle and resolve escalated concerns from customers and internal GY associates or leaders related to Cash Applications, past due and outstanding balances, order releasing, and credit management. You help communicate GBS AR decisions to the right stakeholders.
- You plan, monitor, organize, and communicate credit management, cash application, and past-due collection activities to ensure targets are met.
- You monitor and report underpayments and overpayments, and you give timely feedback to associates to resolve unallocated or unapplied payments.
- You monitor and report aging buckets, past due, and outstanding balances to ensure items 60 days and above are addressed. If items are uncontrollable, you include them in reports to provide visibility to key stakeholders and the AR Management Team.
- You monitor and report the accuracy and timeliness of order releases, account blocking and unblocking, legal referrals, and dunning activities. You escalate challenges to local teams and AR Management as needed.
- You act as a back-up and support resource when needed to meet service levels for Cash Applications and Credit & Collections operations.
- You ensure excellent customer service in every interaction and support the timely collection of all trade receivables, along with any other reasonable duties required for the role.
- You perform additional tasks as assigned by Finance Management or your Supervisor / Manager.
What We're Looking For
You hold a Bachelor’s or College degree in Accountancy, Finance, or an equivalent field.You have at least 5 years of work experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a Credit and Collections environment, and at least 3 years in customer or stakeholder management.You have proficient to advanced knowledge of SAP AR.You have proficient to advanced skills in account reconciliation, customer payment allocation, and collections.You have exposure to OTC / OTR processes (preferred).You have a solid understanding of basic accounting principles, including debits and credits, accounting equations, adjustments, order releasing, credit management, and collections.You have strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.You understand credit management, banking processes, and Goodyear’s global credit policies.You are highly computer-literate and comfortable using Microsoft Office, Visio, and SAP.You can work effectively with all levels of the Goodyear and GBS organization.You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.You are open-minded and adaptable in a fast-paced, changing environment.You are willing to work shifting schedules or extended hours when business needs require.You demonstrate a strong service mindset, drive for results, and the ability to perform well under pressure.#LI-DDA
