Overview
The Penetration Tester role is responsible for delivering penetration tests to improve the software and infrastructure security of the CMA CGM Group. Reporting to the Group Head of Application Security, this role will be a deep technical security expert, able to assess the security posture of CMA CGM Group assets.
What are you going to do?
- Conduct thorough penetration testing on various networks, applications, and systems to identify security weaknesses (web apps, API, Active Directory, thick clients, etc.)
- Develop custom exploits or tools as needed to validate findings
- Work closely with developers, architects, and operations teams to support vulnerability remediation efforts
- Stay up to date with emerging threats, tools, and attack techniques
- Write detailed and clear reports with practical remediation recommendations
- Provide recommendations & mitigations to remediate vulnerabilities
What are we looking for?
Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant degreeOSCP, OSWE, OSCE or any other relevant certification5 years of proven experience in penetration testingHands-on experience with tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, Kali Linux, etc.Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10, MITRE ATT&CK, and common exploitation techniquesKnowledge of modern containerized infrastructures (Kubernetes, cloud platforms)Solid understanding of networking protocols, operating systems, and secure coding practicesAbility to write scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to automate testing tasksThe ability to interact with CMA CGM colleagues, build good relationships at all levels and across all business units and organisations, and the ability to influence stakeholders of all levelsGood verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Listens and communicates technical subjects to both technical and nontechnical audiences, flexes style to suit the needs of the audienceAbility to work with others effectively, with 3rd parties, internal teams, and international business units, promoting knowledge sharing within and across teamsHighly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detailAbility to properly manage time and prioritiesRigor and qualityWhat do we have to offer?
