The financial reporting associate is responsible for assisting in the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and maintaining the books of accounts for the FCMI BU. The role supports the preparation of and analysis of financial statements, managements reports, and variance analyses. It also helps ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and government regulations.
KEY FUNCTIONS : Financial Reporting
- Ensure all accounting transactions are timely and properly recorded in the books.
- Prepare journal entries, account schedules, and basic financial reports
- Assist in the preparation of management and statutory reports
- Coordinate with internal departments to gather date and validate accounting entries
Compliance and Coordination
Support coordination with internal and external auditors during auditsProvide assistance to the Tax team for BIR-related requirements and support the resolution of assessmentsHelp implement financial policies and internal control proceduresFile maintenance and record keeping
Maintain organized filing and archiving of financial reports and supporting documents for audit substantiationEnsure all files are properly labeled, stored, and readily available when neededSafeguard confidential financial information and maintain data integrityQUALIFICATIONS :
Must have a BS Accountancy degree or Financial Management Accountingat least 2 years accounting work experiences as Accounting Assistant or Financial Reporting assistant
