This is a remote position.

Position Title : Finance Business Partner

Work Set-up : Work From Home

Salary : Php 100,000 - Php 120,000

Schedule : 6 : 00 AM – 3 : 00 PM PH Time

As the Finance Business Partner, you’ll work closely with the General Manager and leadership team to link financial performance with business strategy.

This role goes beyond accounting — it’s about translating data into strategic insights, improving financial operations, and driving commercial performance.

You’ll take ownership of management reporting, oversee bookkeeping and payroll operations, and continuously look for ways to enhance processes and reporting accuracy.

Responsibilities as a Finance Business Partner :

Business Partnering & Financial Reporting

  • Lead management reporting — prepare, review, and present reports to the General Manager.
  • Translate financial data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Prepare and review portfolio financial statements for leadership review.
  • Identify process and quality improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for the holding company and subsidiaries.

Leadership & Team Oversight

  • Supervise one Bookkeeping / Administration team member.
  • Oversee accounting, payroll, and data entry activities to ensure accuracy.
  • Review invoices, bills, and month-end journals.
  • Oversee employee onboarding and payroll processing.
  • Manage submission of supplier and payroll payments for approval.
  • Reconcile bank transactions and support ad-hoc accounting tasks when needed.

    • Process Ownership & Improvement

  • Take full ownership of financial processes and implement enhancements.
  • Manage process handovers and documentation.
  • Challenge existing methods — drive efficiency, accuracy, and accountability.

    • Qualifications as a Finance Business Partner :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in accounting.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with accounting systems (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks).
  • Strong skills in management accounting, financial analysis, and business partnering.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and influence business decisions.
  • Passion for continuous improvement and delivering measurable results.

    • Preferred Qualifications as a Finance Business Partner :

  • CPA or equivalent professional certification.
  • Experience in Australian accounting (3+ years).
  • Background in financial analysis and strategic management accounting.
