Research and Development Specialist
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field
- Licensed Food Technologist (if applicable)
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant R&D experience in any of the following food industry
segments : sauces and syrups (1) & baking and pastry (1).
Strong background in product development, formulation, and sensory evaluationFamiliar with regulatory compliance requirements such as :FDA registration and licensing (LTO, CPR, etc.)FSCO permits, sanitation certificates, local health permitsLabel review and product documentationKnowledgeable in Halal Certification, GMP, HACCP, and basic food safety andmicrobiological controls.
Can coordinate with government agencies, 3rd-party labs, and certification bodies.Demonstrated ability to innovate and solve technical problems in product developmentEffective communicator with strong collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
