Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

Design, implement, and manage security platforms that safeguard cloud-based banking infrastructure and applications.

Develop security automation tools and frameworks to improve security operations and incident response.

Lead the implementation and optimization of SIEM solutions, ensuring effective log collection, correlation, and threat detection.

Work closely with DevOps and engineering teams to embed security best practices into CI / CD pipelines.

Manage and enhance identity and access management (IAM) controls, ensuring compliance with security policies.

Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts generated by SIEM and other security tools, minimizing false positives and ensuring rapid incident resolution.

Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability management, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks.

Collaborate with compliance and risk teams to ensure adherence to industry regulations such as PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and local banking standards.

Continuously research and implement emerging security technologies and best practices.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, or security engineering roles.

Extensive experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, ELK, QRadar, etc.) and threat intelligence solutions.

Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks and best practices (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Hands-on experience with security automation, scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell), and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)

Experience with SOAR, EDR, IDS / IPS, and other security monitoring tools.

Familiarity with container security (Docker, Kubernetes) and API security.

Knowledge of networking, firewalls, and endpoint security solutions.

Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, AWS Security Specialty, or GIAC are a plus.
