THE ROLE
The Senior Technical Manager serves as a key escalation point within the Level 1–Level 3 support model, providing subject-matter expertise across TEMENOS products in both implementation projects and Run operations. With deep knowledge of Transact Core Banking and T24 customization, Limit and Delivery modules, COB fine-tuning and a proven track record in T24 delivery, the role ensures stability and effectiveness in BAU operations. Operating at the Level 3 support tier, the Senior Technical Manager is accountable for handling day-to-day operational challenges, ensuring timely resolution across all support layers, and contributing to continuous product and process improvements through the Centre of Excellence.
OPPORTUNITIES
- You will ensure end-to-end ownership of client issues across the Level1–Level3 support model, driving stability in BAU operations and strengthening the escalation framework.
- You will provide oversight and guidance to Level 1 service desk consultants in incident logging, ticket triage, and initial troubleshooting, ensuring accurate issue capture and effective use of knowledge base articles and SOPs.
- You will mentor Level 2 consultants in functional analysis, RCA preparation, and client communication, ensuring escalations are well-documented, reproducible, and actionable.
- You will own complex functional and technical issues at Level 3, conducting deep root cause analysis, driving permanent resolutions, and raising product defects with Temenos Maintenance or Product Engineering where necessary.
- You will lead critical incident discussions with clients and partners, coordinating technical resolution and ensuring alignment with operational and business objectives.
- You will review and validate customization requirements, functional specifications, and local developments, providing clear guidance to Technical Consultants and supporting UAT for high-impact changes.
- You will monitor recurring issues and trends, recommending process improvements and targeted training to reduce repeated escalations.
- You will provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to L1 and L2 teams, enhancing overall support capability and ensuring efficient use of the escalation matrix.
- You will contribute to the Centre of Excellence by sharing insights from escalation handling, influencing best practices, and driving product and process improvements.
SKILLS
You should have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in finance, banking software consultancy, or TEMENOS product delivery (TRANSACT core modules and its customization).You should be fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage.You should have a strong understanding of financial and banking processes across Core Banking & Payments.You should have deep expertise in Temenos Core application architecture and its customization, OFS messaging and COB processing, and fair experience in wider Transact functional modules.You should have hands-on experience with Transact R22 onwards and a solid understanding of Temenos Cloud Architecture.You should have exposure to at least one major programming language (e.g., Basic, C / C++, Java).You should have in-depth knowledge and ability to apply the TEMENOS Implementation Methodology.You should have strong stakeholder management and client engagement skills.You should have proven ability to handle complex, cross-functional activities with significant coordination demands.You should have broad awareness of Run operations and related job functions.You should have industry awareness : up-to-date with banking trends, regulatory requirements, and market behaviors.This job involves complex activities requiring considerable coordination to effectively achieve end results.
