Job descriptionBachelor’s degree or Diploma in a relevant field (from an accredited institution) Minimum NEBOSH IGC (International General Certificate) or equivalent qualification Additional HSE certifications are a plus Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE roles within the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry At least 2 years of Offshore Brownfield experience required Excellent knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and industry best practices Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to assess risks and implement effective control measures Proficient in HSE reporting and documentation Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
We are seeking an experienced HSE Officer / Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Health, Safety, and Environmental practices within the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry, with at least 2 years of Offshore Brownfield experience. The role involves overseeing safety protocols, conducting safety training, ensuring HSE compliance, and reporting HSE performance for offshore projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and standards on offshore projects
- Monitor and enforce HSE procedures for both on-site and offshore operations
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure safe working conditions
- Provide guidance and support to the project teams to promote a safety culture
- Identify risks and hazards and propose mitigation measures
- Prepare and submit reports on HSE performance and incidents
- Organize and conduct safety training sessions for team members
- Assist in emergency response planning and drills
- Collaborate with management to ensure continuous improvement of HSE processes
