Job description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Buhay’s COO to help in building the ecosystem in the Philippines to enable greater awareness, reputation and visibility in the market. This should result in high-velocity lead pipeline flow, and closed opportunities.
  • Find and develop new leads to support increased revenue for Buhay’s loan origination / sourcing service with its Financial Institution (FI) partner’s business credit line offerings. Leads generation can be done through tools including but not limited to Sales & Database Acquisition Tools, etc.
  • Utilize tools such as Hubspot, and Leads Generation platforms to manage the pipeline of leads / deals for new clients.
  • Attendance of virtual or face‑to‑face leads Generation events, conferences or meetings to develop progress or relationships with new clients and partnerships.
  • Assist in development of relationships with new and existing demand-side clients (clients for Buhay’s FI partner’s business credit products) for tasks such as setting meetings, sending agreements, development / management of credit programs, and collection of documents / requirements.
  • Liaise with supply-side partners such as Banks, NBFCs and Credit Bureaus in terms of follow-ups for next steps, review of potential clients / deals, setting of meetings and documentation.
  • Report performance by submission of bi‑weekly and monthly reports for the review of the COO, for all agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) :
  • Conversations with prospective customers
  • Securing Qualified Leads (for Pre‑Sanctioning)
  • Contributing to the overall Launched Opportunities of the team

Qualifications

  • 7 to 10 years of experience in sales with a track record of building strong customer relationships and driving customer success. Experience handling business loans / credit products for Filipino businesses is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience working with top universal or thrift / savings banks as a Relationship Manager
  • Rapidly grasps new concepts, and skilled in analyzing and resolving intricate operational challenges with speed and proficiency.
  • An energetic and proactive self‑starter with a strategic outlook and a dedication to achieving operational excellence who challenges the norm and is willing to go beyond what is expected.
