We are looking for passionate and skilled Line Cooks to join our culinary team at VS2GO and VS Café, VS Hotel. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, ensuring consistency, and maintaining the standards of the hotel’s food and beverage operations.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with hotel standards and recipes.
Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies and ingredients.
Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet hotel standards.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils.
Follow proper food safety and hygiene guidelines at all times.
Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper inventory rotation (FIFO).
Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Support special functions, banquets, and hotel events as needed.
Job Requirements
At least 1–2 years of experience as a Line Cook, Commis, or similar role in the hotel or restaurant industry.
Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Strong attention to detail, with passion for food and hospitality.
Good teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
TESDA NC II in Cookery or related certification is an advantage but not required.
