Truss and Wall Panel (Wall Frame) Designer (US Client)

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Truss and Wall Panel Designer based in the Philippines who has hands-on experience designing timber wall frames and roof trusses based on Australian, New Zealand, or U.S. building standards. The successful candidate will work closely with an offshore team to interpret architectural and structural drawings, create detailed shop drawings, and ensure designs meet engineering and compliance requirements. Key Responsibilities :

Create accurate truss and wall panel designs using Mitek, Pryda, or similar software.

Interpret architectural and structural drawings in accordance with AU / NZ / US building codes.

Generate cutting lists, layout drawings, and fabrication details for production.

Optimize material usage for cost and structural integrity.

Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and production teams (both local and offshore).

Review and revise plans based on client feedback or engineering changes.

Ensure all work aligns with client specifications and international building standards.

Qualifications :

Degree / Diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, or related field.

Minimum 2 years of experience designing timber trusses and wall panels for AU / NZ / US markets.

Proficient in software such as Mitek (Structure, Engineering, and Layout), Pryda, or Alpine.

Strong understanding of construction drawings and international building codes.

High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Excellent communication skills; experience working with offshore clients is a plus.
