Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting & Analysis : Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow) according to accounting standards like GAAP or IFRS.
- Regulatory Compliance : Ensure all financial activities comply with relevant local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
- Budgeting & Forecasting : Assist in developing annual budgets and forecasts, and monitor spending against them to identify variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Team Leadership : Manage, mentor, and develop the accounting department staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment.
- Internal Controls : Develop and document accounting policies and procedures to strengthen internal controls and maintain accurate financial records.
- Auditor Relations : Serve as the main liaison with external auditors, facilitating the audit process and ensuring compliance.
- Strategic Input : Provide financial insights and analysis to senior management to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Cash & Treasury Management : Oversee treasury management, cash flow, and petty cash expenses to ensure optimal placement of funds.
