Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing & Assets Assistant to support our procurement and asset management operations. This role involves coordinating equipment reporting, managing vendor communications, and ensuring smooth purchasing and payment processes. If you have strong analytical skills, a sense of urgency, and a knack for organization, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities :
Log and analyze reports of malfunctioning equipment and warranty coverage.
Coordinate with technicians and stakeholders for repair tracking and resolution.
Create and process purchase orders and reconcile expenses using company Amex.
Source new suppliers, prepare RFPs, and compare quotes for best value.
Maintain vendor records and support supplier relationship management.
Monitor technician updates and escalate delays when needed.
Contribute to continuous improvement of asset tracking and reporting systems.
Must-Haves :
Proficiency in spoken and written English.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and act with urgency.
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP systems.
Nice-to-Haves :
Proficiency in spoken Spanish.
Experience in purchasing, procurement, or asset / facilities management.
Knowledge of RFPs, supplier management, and cost analysis.
Soft Skills :
Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Comfortable working independently in a remote setup.
Adaptable to shifting priorities and multiple tasks.
