Job description

RCG IT Philippines is in need of JAVA DEVELOPERS to be part of our growing team. We are looking for highly-skilled individuals who are amenable to work on night shift and Temporary Work From Home, Hybrid or RTO set-up. Our offices in the Philippines are located in Makati City and Mandaluyong City.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's / College Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology, Engineering (Computer / Telecommunication) or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience in Java / J2EE, Spring and Hibernate
  • Experience in web services programming, system analysis and design, and testing
  • Experience in full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process
  • Has exposure to Agile methodology
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Conduct analysis on business requirements and prepare program specifications at the systems level for simple systems or modules
  • Develop or maintain, test and implement modules according to system specifications. Identify all possible scenarios and prepare tests for the systems under development
  • Execute test plan during development and system testing and provide user acceptance testing or other testing support as required to ensure that the system processing reflects user requirements / designs
  • Provide post-implementation and production support for systems including analysis of production problems
  • Perform implementation activities such as program promotions, installation of the system, training and tutorial for end users
  • Perform development / update of the User’s Manual, Systems Manual and Operations Manual
  • Provide updates and status reports to the Project Manager during the course of development and related support activities
  • In-charge of a system module. Identify areas for improvement / enhancement on existing system module or on the entire system, and on new ones being developed
  • Determine, analyze, and transform business requirements to produce design specifications at the system and programming levels
