General Accountant - CPA - 4 Yrs Experience Makati

Qualifications / Job Requirements :

Education / Major Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA (PH) preferred. Experience Accountant : 2–4 years of full-cycle accounting experience (F&B or retail preferred).

Senior Accountant : 4–6+ years of experience, including month-end closing and audit exposure.

Skills Strong understanding of Philippine accounting and tax compliance (BIR VAT, EWT).

Proficient in accounting systems (QuickBooks, Xero, SAP B1, or NetSuite) and POS / aggregator platforms.

Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Power Query is a plus).

High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.

Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills."

Responsibilities :

Prepare and maintain financial records and reports

Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts

Manage accounts payable and receivable

Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting

Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare tax returns

Support internal and external audits

Analyze financial data and provide insights

Implement and maintain accounting systems and processes

Collaborate with other departments on financial matters

Monitor financial transactions and ensure accuracy

Salary / Compensation Salary : From 21,000 to 30,000 PHP / month (depending on capability) + KPI bonus :

• Month-end closing completed by WD+5 with <1% post-close adjustments.
• Inventory variance ≤ 1.5% of cost; reconciliations completed on time.
• Zero late tax / statutory filings or remittance penalties.
• Accounts Receivable within credit terms; Accounts Payable paid as scheduled.
• POS and aggregator reconciliations completed within the same week.
• Probation : 6 months, receiving 85% of salary or as mutually agreed.
