Full Stack Laravel Developer (Remote)

Background

  • PeoplePartners is hiring for one of our most creative clients : GYROstream. They’re on a mission to amplify independent artists—and now they need a developer who’s just as passionate about great code as they are about great music.

About the Role

  • You’ll join a close-knit remote team, owning backend builds in Laravel and collaborating across the stack with folks using Next.js. You’ll help create systems that power digital music distribution and artist experiences.

    • Your Key Responsibilities :

  • Build and maintain scalable APIs with Laravel.
  • Design relational databases and write performant MySQL queries.
  • Collaborate with frontend devs, product managers, and QA.
  • Participate in code reviews, sprints, and planning in Jira.
  • Push clean, testable code using GitHub workflows.

  • Laravel is your comfort zone—but you’re not afraid to learn Next.js.
  • You’re equally happy working solo or with a team.
  • You communicate clearly and code with intention.
  • You’re structured, but flexible when needed.

  • 3+ years of hands-on Laravel experience.
  • Experience building and securing REST / GraphQL APIs.
  • Proficiency with GitHub, MySQL, and Jira.
  • Bonus if you’ve touched React or modern frontend stacks.
