Job description

We are seeking for a highly skilled and experienced Staff Accountant to join Genesys. As a Staff Accountant you will play a key role in managing the financial activities an ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reports.

Responsibilities :

Perform monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
Analyze prepayment and accruals to ensure accuracy.
Fixed asset accounting, roll forward and reconciliations.
Experience with accounting treatment of leases.
Experience with intercompany accounting.
Experience with preparing payroll journal entries.
Calculate allocation of expenses across multiple business units and entities.
Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
Work with external auditors during annual audit process.
Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management.
Prepare and analyze financial statements.

Requirements

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

3+ years of progressive accounting experience,

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and GAAP or IFRS.

Experience with financial software and ERP systems; proficiency in Excel is required, experience with QuickBooks a plus.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication an interpersonal skill, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
