Job description

Octal Philippines Inc. is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Technical Delivery Manager to join our dynamic team. This position is crucial for driving the successful delivery of our projects while ensuring adherence to high standards of quality. The Technical Delivery Manager will oversee the alignment of technical solutions with business objectives, streamline project timelines, and facilitate effective communication among team members.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of technical projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to implement and deliver project requirements while remaining aligned with business goals.
  • Continuously analyze project risks and develop mitigation strategies to optimize project outcomes.
  • Oversee the technical architecture and design process to ensure robust project delivery.
  • Maintain documentation and reporting on project progress, challenges, and resolutions while promoting a knowledge-sharing culture.
  • Enhance team performance through coaching, mentoring, and providing constructive feedback.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in project or delivery management, particularly within a technical environment, ideally for 5+ years.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions quickly.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of managing high-performing teams and ensuring effective communication.
  • Experience in risk management and the ability to foresee project issues and convert them into opportunities.
  • Strong technical acumen and familiarity with web and application development technologies.

    • Nice to Have

  • Prior experience in financial services, anti-fraud, or AML projects.
  • Certifications such as PMP, Agile, or Scrum Master would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of emerging technology trends, including AI and machine learning, is a plus.
