OSP Fiber Network Designer Fiber Design Specialist

This is a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Design OSP fiber layouts and connection routes from network boxes to end-user locations
  

• Prepare and update technical drawings and design documents for FTTH and FTTx projects
  

• Review field data and survey information to ensure accurate and build-ready designs
  

• Perform quality checks on designs to ensure compliance with engineering and client standards
  

• Coordinate with project managers engineers and field teams to resolve design issues
  

• Maintain organized design files reports and documentation
  

• Support make-ready engineering and permitting requirements as needed
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in OSP fiber design or related telecommunications projects
  

• Experience designing fiber connections from box to home (FTTH/FTTx) is highly preferred
  

• Working knowledge of OSP design principles and standards (required)
  

• Familiarity with Smartsheet 3GIS Katapult and ArcGIS (required)
  

• Proficient in AutoCAD or similar drafting tools
  

• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
  

• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
