Senior Node.js Engineer / Developer (Hybrid)

Job description

Responsibilities :

Develop and maintain backend APIs and services for web and mobile apps.
Enhance and support existing systems.
Migrate CoffeeScript codebase to TypeScript for improved performance and maintainability.
Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-tested code.

Qualifications :

5+ years with CoffeeScript (preferred) and 3+ years with Node.js / JavaScript (required)

Strong experience with MySQL, DynamoDB, and Redis

Proficient in Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS (CloudFormation, API Gateway, AppSync / GraphQL)

Familiarity with automation / DevOps tools (Jenkins, DataDog, Loggly)

Knowledgeable in Express, Lodash, Knex, and Sequelize

Experienced in microservices architecture and full SDLC

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
