Your impact

Key Responsibilities of the Control and Instrumentation Engineer:

• Lead I&C design reviews and support technical advisory services for energy and power projects, including CCGT and renewable technologies.
• Develop and review control system architecture, system descriptions, SOO, panel designs, and instrumentation specifications.
• Analyze and interpret P&IDs, instrument layouts, cable routing, hook-up drawings, and I/O lists.
• Participate in HAZOP and CHAZOP sessions and provide on-site support as needed.
• Promote and engage in Jacobs’ safety culture throughout project delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers on technical aspects and best practices.
• Contribute to bids, proposals, and client engagement activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and maintain strong client relationships.

Here's what you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, I&C or similar
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in designing I&C systems in the power industry. Field experience is an advantage.
• Experience with the following software tools: AutoCAD, SPI-Intools, Navisworks, PLC, HMI, SCADA, etc.
• Experience with the following protocols: Protocol: Modbus, Profibus, TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP, OPC-UA, BACnet, HART, etc.
