Job descriptionSupervise cut-and-fill operations and verify compliance with project plans, specifications, and DPWH standards. Oversee road construction activities including alignment setting, grading, subgrade preparation, base course, and paving works. Conduct and verify site surveying, layout, and grade control using total station, GPS, and laser levels. Interpret engineering drawings, road cross-sections, and topographic maps. Implement drainage systems, slope protection works, and erosion control measures suited for Philippine terrain and climate. Supervise construction of retaining walls, riprap, gabions, and other slope stabilization structures. Ensure strict compliance with DOLE occupational safety regulations and DENR environmental requirements. Prepare daily progress reports, as-built documentation, and material quantity reports.
Job Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; PRC-licensed Civil Engineer preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in road construction and cut-and-fill works, preferably in mountainous terrain.
- Knowledge of DPWH Standard Specifications for Highways, Bridges,.
- Strong leadership and communication skills for supervising multi-disciplinary teams.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
