Job description8 hour shift 13th month salary Quezon City : Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required) Education Bachelor's (preferred) Experience Geologist : 3 years (preferred)
Geologist conducts geohazard study, geophysical logging / testing, interpolation / interpretation, analysis and reporting
- Responsible for undertaking geohazard study, geophysical logging / testing as part of the overall geotechnical investigation activities.
- Ensures that the geophysical logging / testing and geohazard practises and activities meet the relevant standards.
- Performs geophysical / geological interpretation / interpolation and analyses results
- Ensures that the geophysical logging / testing and geohazard tools and equipment are all functional and properly maintained.
- Assists the Section Head-Geophysics and Geohazard in the continuous review of recent information regarding geophysical logging / testing best practice.
- Performs other tasks and duties that may be assigned by the Section Head-Geophysics and Geohazard, Lead Geotechnical Engineer and / or the Geotechnical Engineering Manager
