Job description

Responsible for implementing Occupational Safety, Health and Environment Management System based on Friesland Campina SHE System & Internal Control Framework, OHSAS-18001, ISO-14001 as well as security operations in line with management commitment towards safeguarding employees from occupational hazards, environmental protection and business interest.

  • To comply with Philippine Laws on Occupational Safety and Health (DOLE)What we ask
  • Degree in Science / Engineering / Safety, Health and Environment Additional advantages with Certificate on BOSH
  • Good verbal and written English & Tagalog
  • Minimum 2 years experience in manufacturing industry, working experience in beverage and food processing industry is an added advantage

Specialized knowledge or skills required

  • Understanding of applicable laws such as OSH standards, Fire Code of the Philippines, First Aid, etc..
  • Knowledge in hazards identification, assessment and control measures
  • Accident investigation and root causes analysis.

  • Vacancy description- Conducts safety induction for new AMC employees and for contractual workers
  • Builds AMC safety pyramid by gathering safety reports from plant operations
  • Facilitates department toolbox meetings by providing the necessary materials for discussion and cascades relevant safety information or updates.
  • Creates and maintains departmental safety notice boards and safe keeps all departmental safety records
  • Conducts regular machine safety inspection to ensure that all necessary controls are in-place
  • Coordinates with EHS coordinators on the progress of action plans required from safety committee meetings, HIRAC or audits
  • Implements SHE recognition and performance monitoring program
  • Gathers data for accident and incident investigation
  • Conducts daily safety inspection at each plant to ensure that safety measures are in place and to report any deviations from safety standards
  • Acts as EMS coordinator for UHT, CMP, Can Plant, MPP and QA
  • Assists in the successful implementation of any safety initiatives rolled out by the SHE Manager and SHE Officer
