Analytics Test Manager

The Role

As an Analytics Test Manager, you will be responsible for driving the overall test program (SIT / UAT) for the development of analytic assets.

You will partner with the Enterprise Testing Center of Excellence to drive standards, policies and automation of all testing assets.

However, most of your time will be spent with the Analytics development teams and the business analysts as they design new use cases for delivery.

How you'll contribute

Be responsible for managing the software quality assurance functions across the internal engineering team as well as partner with the TCOE, while ensuring the delivery of high-quality products.

Effectively lead a team of software quality assurance and automation engineers through an Agile software development lifecycle across various software teams, platforms and products.

Review test strategies, encourage the development of new test strategies, and maintain a continuous improvement environment to improve quality and efficiency.

Maintain strong communication across departments and divisions to develop needs analysis, requirements, and operational planning.

Review test plans, test results, risk analysis and release documentation.

Partner with the Enterprise PMO and Enterprise Testing Center of Excellence to ensure institutional standards are be met in the delivery of program deliverables.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science or any related course

At least 5 years experience within Data Analytics & BI

Hands on experience with developing and using testing frameworks in a data engineering environment including Spark, Python, SQL, Java, Scala, Kafka etc.

Strong project delivery toolset experience in open source data integration tools

Hands on technical expertise in Spark, Python, SQL, Java, Scala, Kafka etc.

Hands on experience working with different data bases (RDBMS, NoSQL, Blob storage etc.)

Hands on technical expertise setting up DevOps automation using tools such as Jenkins, Github etc.

Hands on experience working technologies / platform e.g.

Dockers, Containers, Openstack, AWS, Azure, GCP.
