Job description
  • Comfortable working with laminated doughs and yeast doughs both with equipment and by hand
  • Familiar and has had experience baking classic French and American pastries and bread
  • Familiar with professional kitchen rules, calls, and customs
  • Familiar and comfortable with all professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders, industrial ovens, and small wares
  • Must be able to keep an organized workspace, responsible for stocks management and inventory with good habits in the kitchen
  • Responsible for preparing and measuring ingredients, properly cooking or baking foods, and decorating sweet baked goods;
  • Has the ability to read and follow recipes provided;
  • Can strictly follow Standard Operating Procedure (SOP);
  • Knowledgeable in the identification of shelf life of all pastries produced;
  • Must be able to adhere to health and safety regulations
  • Flexible, attentive to instructions with excellent time-management skills;
  • Certificates, training attended is a plus;
  • At least 2 years experience in a similar position
  • Must stage for 1 day to show skills and abilities in the kitchen
