Job description
Comfortable working with laminated doughs and yeast doughs both with equipment and by hand
Familiar and has had experience baking classic French and American pastries and bread
Familiar with professional kitchen rules, calls, and customs
Familiar and comfortable with all professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders, industrial ovens, and small wares
Must be able to keep an organized workspace, responsible for stocks management and inventory with good habits in the kitchen
Responsible for preparing and measuring ingredients, properly cooking or baking foods, and decorating sweet baked goods;
Has the ability to read and follow recipes provided;
Can strictly follow Standard Operating Procedure (SOP);
Knowledgeable in the identification of shelf life of all pastries produced;
Must be able to adhere to health and safety regulations
Flexible, attentive to instructions with excellent time-management skills;
Certificates, training attended is a plus;
At least 2 years experience in a similar position
Must stage for 1 day to show skills and abilities in the kitchen
