Job description

JOB SUMMARYLeads in attaining the unit's objectives of maintaining an adequate level of liquidity for funding obligations, complying with reserve requirements, and other relevant requirements of the bank about fund management;Ensures compliance with internal and regulator limits about reserves;Assists in balance sheet management by preparing all required information; andDetermines Transfer Pool and Time Deposit Rates for the Bank.Manages cash flow, and liquidity position and in coordination with Treasury Head attains Treasury's funding and liquidity objectives.

These entail the following : Analyzes daily bank-wide cash flow, and liquidity position to determine the appropriate mix of funding sources to optimize cash flow while considering maturity and liquidity profile of earning assets and liabilities; andImplements daily plans and strategies in line with the objectives set by the Treasury Head.Ensures compliance with BSP regulations, market practice, and internal limits and regulations concerning regulatory reserves positions and limits;Develops, operates, and maintains an effective internal control system to ensure that all funding requirements are properly prepared in an accurate and timely manner;Monitors the Demand Deposit Account with BSP; Ensures daily and weekly reserve requirements are met;Invests excess funds through the following facilities : Overnight Deposit Facility;Term Deposit Facility;Reverse Repurchase;BSP Securities Facility;Overnight Lending Facility; andFixed Income Securities (FVOCI)Ensures to get the best lending and borrowing rate in the inter-bank market;Manages DFOB accounts and ensures that all ADB requirements are met;Recommends weekly or as may be necessary, to Treasury Head the transfer of pool pricing and time deposit rates for the bank;Acts as Asset and Liability Committee (ALCO) Secretariat;Handles preparation of ALCO reports needed for decision-making every week; andPerforms other duties that may be assigned from time to time.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in accounting, business, management, or finance;SEC Certified Fixed Income Securities Salesman;At least BAP Certified Money Market Dealer; andAt least five (5) years of related work experience.
