Job description

Clark Safari and Adventure Park is seeking a dependable and nature-loving Horticulturist to help care for the plants and landscapes throughout the zoo.

The role focuses on maintaining healthy greenery in public areas and animal habitats, helping create a clean, green, and welcoming environment for both guests and animals.

Key Responsibilities :

Maintain and care for plants, trees, and shrubs around the zoo grounds and walkways.
Assist in basic landscaping tasks such as watering, weeding, pruning, and planting.
Support the upkeep of gardens and green areas to ensure cleanliness and visual appeal.
Help monitor plant health and report any signs of disease or pest problems.
Coordinate with animal care staff regarding safe and suitable plants near animal enclosures.
Keep gardening tools and materials in good condition.

Qualifications :

Background or experience in horticulture, landscaping, gardening, or a related field.

Knowledge of basic plant care and common tropical or native plants.

Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors.

Can work well independently and with a small team.

Responsible, observant, and detail oriented.

Preferred but Not Required :

Experience working in parks, farms, nurseries, or similar outdoor settings.

Familiarity with eco-friendly gardening methods.
