Job description
  • We are looking for Accounting Staff who will work with / for Smart & Plan Construction and Consultants Inc., in Mabalacat, Pampanga
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or any related course
  • License as CPA will be an advantage but not required
  • At least 1-year experience in treasury & general accounting
  • Background in disbursement will be an advantage
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in figures
  • Can handle multitasking and work with minimum supervision
  • Ability to build relationships with clients and internal departments
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Willing to relocate & work in Mabalacat, Pampanga

  • Responsibilities
  • Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
  • Review and monitors vendor billings
  • Monitor and safe-keep check vouchers and deposit slips of clients, suppliers, and / or vendors
  • Process and delivers timely all request for cash advances
  • Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, and other tax requirements
  • Process payment for all Tax and Regulatory Compliance _(i.e., VAT, Income Tax, Withholding Taxes, Municipal Permits and Licenses, and other government compliance requirements)_
  • Monthly checking of vouchers & supporting attachments
  • Process preparation / checking of Cash Disbursement Book and Accounts Payable Book / Vouchers
  • Coordinate with banks and clients with regards to bounced checks and clearing status
  • Monitor & keep Bank Reconciliation up-to-date for disbursements
  • Monthly preparation of disbursement report
  • Other tasks that may be required from time to time
