Environmental Database Administrator

We are currently looking for two Environmental Database Administrator to join our as a Service team on a permanent full time basis.

Working in a locally based team, you will be responsible for day-to-day requests generated for environmental field and analytical data.

You will be supported by an Australian based technical support network and team leader, while working with our environmental scientists and engineers in Australia to deliver data services for environmental projects.

• Key tasks will include

Set up of project databases

Data entry of laboratory and field information

Filing of field information

Generation and manipulation of summary tables

Trouble shooting of issues

Liaison with project teams

Generation and manipulation of borehole logs

Advanced skills in MS software (knowledge of Excel VBA considered an advantage)

Basic understanding of database fundamentals

Basic understanding of environmental sciences and management

Basic understanding of chemistry and laboratory processes

Previous experience in using ESDAT, ESlog, EQUIS or GINT software considered an advantage

Interest or experience with GIS or ArcGIS software

Excellent organisational skills

Database design and management

Previous experience working with an online ticketing system
