Showing courtesy to all incoming and outgoing customers
Handling customer inquiries including phone inquiries and directing them to appropriate party
Receiving and processing all payments according to standard procedures
Examining products being purchased for damages and price accuracy before releasing the product to the customer
Handling cash, credit or debit transactions between customer and retail store
Answering routine billing questions / issues from customers
Assisting in the opening and closing of a retail location which includes and but not limited to cash handling and deposits
Training and supervising new cashiers
Assisting in the maintenance of store front and retail displays
Submitting Daily Sales Reports daily and other necessary reports as required
Communicating with the management team regarding customer requests or concerns
Assuming the responsibilities of the OIC in case of OIC's absence
Performing other functions deemed necessary by management
