A Sales and Project Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of retail operations. This position involves analyzing data, developing strategies, and collaborating with various teams to optimize sales and inventory management, as well as managing some projects that are impactful to the operations and to the Company.
Key Responsibilities
a. Analyze sales, inventory for promotion, and operational data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
b. Prepare reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales forecasts, inventory turnover, markdown effectiveness, sales failure, and Set Sales targets and other related reports to sales.
a. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, Marketing, Warehouse, Malaysia counterparts, and any departments that may be involved in certain projects, to implement strategies that drive sales growth and improve operational efficiency, such as but not limited to promotional campaigns with sales objectives and display-related initiatives.
b. Support implementation of new systems, processes, or strategies that will help the operations team in the most impactful way.
a. Assist in the preparation, idea generation, monitoring, and analysis of project results and accomplishments, such as but not limited to marketing promotion, product survey, new gondola accessories, and other projects that will help the store improve, local or global implementation.
b. Monitor timelines, deliverables, and cascade budgets for ongoing projects.
