Job description

We seek a meticulous and tech-savvy Data Crawler to join our company. The ideal candidate will extract data from various websites relevant to our sales and marketing campaigns.

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Data Collection : Use tools and scripts to crawl websites, databases, and other online sources to extract relevant sales and marketing data.
  • Data Cleaning : Ensure the accuracy and quality of the collected data by performing data cleaning and preprocessing tasks.
  • Data Cleanup : Provide a clean list of collected data based on the requirements of the sales and marketing team.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to align data collection efforts with business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience : At least one (1) of experience in technical data crawling, web scraping, data analysis, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of data cleaning and pre-processing techniques.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data scraping and crawling.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot data collection and analysis issues.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with web scraping tools like BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, or Selenium.
  • Familiarity with databases and SQL.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing principles.

    • Minimum Technical and Work Environment Requirements :

  • Internet Connection :
  • Primary internet connection with a minimum speed of 15 Mbps .
  • Backup internet connection with at least 10 Mbps .
  • Backup connection must be capable of supporting work during a power outage.
  • Primary Device :
  • Desktop or laptop equipped with at least :
  • Intel Core i5 (8th generation or newer) , Intel Core i3 (10th generation or newer) , AMD Ryzen 5 , or an equivalent processor.
  • A minimum of 8 GB RAM .
  • Backup Device :
  • Must meet or exceed the performance of an Intel Core i3 processor.
  • Must be functional during power interruptions.
  • A functioning webcam .
  • A noise-canceling USB headset .
  • A quiet, dedicated home office space .
  • Peripherals and Workspace : A smartphone for communication and verification purposes.
