Elevate is recruiting a Japanese Language Specialist to join our high-performing team, overseeing, monitoring, measuring, and analyzing non-market risk exposure.We provide consulting, technology, and services to law departments and law firms, offering practical ways to improve efficiency, quality, and business outcomes.You are driven, smart, flexible, and enjoy a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, where you can succeed and learn while making a dent in the legal universe.Specifically, the Bilingual Analyst willScreen electronic communications quickly and effectively using client-developed guidelines on market abuse.Identify and escalate potential instances of market abuse.Participate in the 2nd line review of cases that may potentially be escalated to the client.Participate in the internal Quality Assurance process.Liaise with client teams on escalated cases, as necessary.Responsibilities will be carried out in English and Japanese.ExperienceExperience working as a translator or interpreter.Previous work experience in a similar control / risk function within a business is a plus.Skills for SuccessExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Technical SkillsAdvanced knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.QualificationsProficiency in English and Japanese.Degree in Economics, Business, or Law preferred.Company InformationElevate is a law company providing software and services at the intersection of business and law.
