Responsibilities
- Review and manage the preparation of federal and state income tax returns
Forms 1120, 1120S, 1065) prepared by staff using CCH Axcess, ensuring accuracy and
compliance with applicable tax laws
Oversee the preparation and timely filing of tax extensions and relatedsupporting schedules
Lead client communications regarding open items, inquiries, and complex taxmatters, maintaining a high level of professionalism
Act as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring timelystatus updates and clear communication of key information
Supervise, mentor, and support junior staff and associates by reviewing work,providing feedback, and promoting professional development
Work closely with senior leadership to identify and resolve issues, improveprocesses, and manage workload distribution
Take ownership of high-value or complex entity clients and support strategic taxplanning efforts
Manage and participate in miscellaneous ad hoc projects and initiatives asneeded
Qualifications
Minimum 7 years’ experience in business entity tax preparation and reviewStrong leadership, time management, and interpersonal communication skillsCPA preferredProficiency in CCH Axcess strongly preferredDemonstrated ability to manage clients, coordinate across teams, and uphold aprofessional attitude in a client-facing environment
