Staff Auditor

By joining us as a Staff Auditor, you will be part of the Emerson Corporate Internal Audit Department, performing financial audits, controls reviews, and continuous monitoring procedures to ensure business unit (BU) financial statements and controls are in accordance with the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and the Corporate policies and procedures. You will perform financial audits and SOX reviews, complete procedures according to the continuous monitoring program, and perform special projects.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be :

• Make risk-based audit selections based on data analytics dashboards and agree back to supporting documents and investigate any differences.
• Agree monthly reconciliations and accrual analyses to Hyperion balances and supporting documents, investigating any differences, and assessing methodology for reasonableness.
• Coordinate and raise audit requests and status meetings with audit management and the BU management.
• Complete procedures for financial audits, controls reviews, and continuous monitoring reviews according to the audit program.
• Perform special projects related to the audit as assigned.
